Dovrebbe far riflettere gli Italiani “attenti” agli eventi particolari che si verificano sul territorio nazionale la “circostanza”, di certo non fortuita, che l’annuale riunione del ben noto “Club Bilderberg” si tenga quest’anno in una città simbolo del Paese, a Torino. E dovrebbe far riflettere anche la “circostanza” che il summit dei Potenti del mondo si tenga da domani a giorno 10, a ridosso delle due giornate in cui il nuovo Governo ha in discussione la fiducia, ieri al Senato, oggi alla Camera.
Chi sono i Potenti del mondo? Anche se ne mancano molti (chissà perché….!) un elenco (non completo?), quello dei partecipanti dell’incontro torinese, lo pubblica lo stesso sito del Bildberger, che riportiamo per capire (e conoscere) un poco chi è che tiene (e tira) le fila del globalismo economico, dell’informazione così come delle questioni militari:

Per quattro giorni ministri, industriali, amministratori delegati di multinazionali, vertici di numerose banche, alti esponenti militari, discuteranno su temi quali “disuguaglianza”, “futuro del lavoro”, “intelligenza artificiale”, “politica mondiale”, e altri argomenti che saranno sul tappeto a livello di “attualità”, ma razionalmente sembra che la scelta della location sia dovuta alla piega che hanno preso le situazioni politiche italiane dopo il voto del 4 marzo scorso: la “svolta” populista e sovranista in Italia, evidentemente, allarma o, quantomeno, preoccupa.
Come si evince dall’elenco degli invitati i cui nomi sono stati resi pubblici, gli “italiani illustri” che partecipano al periodico e “secreto/riservato” incontro sono otto: John Elkan, Lilli Gruber, Lucio Caracciolo (Direttore di Limes), Alberto Alesino (economista), Elena Cattaneo (senatore a vita), Vittorio Colao (Ceo di Vodafone), Marianna Mazzucato (professore di economia all’University College di Londra) e Salvatore Rossi (direttore generale della Banca d’Italia). John Elkan e Lilli Gruber sono membri del “comitato direttivo” del Club.
Ancora oggi non è stato reso di pubblico dominio il luogo del summit “italiano”. Il “Club”, ricordiamo è stato fondato da David Rockfeller nel 1954 e quest’anno è alla sua 66esima edizione. L’anno scorso si è svolto a Chantilly, in Virginia. Qualche giornale si è chiesto chi paghi le spese per l’organizzazione dell’evento: nel sito ufficiale si legge che “i costi del meeting annuale sono responsabilità dei membri del comitato direttivo del Paese ospitante”. Quest’anno, dunque, tocca agli italiani: a pagare saranno Lilli Gruber e John Elkan.

È risaputo che sul Bilderberg sono state avanzate le più disparate teorie su cosa si decida (davvero) all’interno di quelle riunioni segrete. Fra i tanti partecipanti l’ex primo ministro francese Bernard Cazeneuve, Henry Kissinger (braccio destro di Nixon e molto vicino a Napolitano), José M. Barroso (di Goldman Sachs ed ex presidente della Commissione Ue) e Jens Stoltenberg (segretario generale della Nato). Per l’Italia in passato hanno partecipato personalità ai massimi livelli della Cosa pubblica. Qualche esempio? Mario Monti, Romano Prodi, Umberto Agnelli, Franco Bernabè, Emma Bonino, eccetera.
